All about me
Jennifer Holland is a 3D modeling and animation artist that graduated at Platt College. She has been an artist all her life, drawing character concepts on paper and then later in PhotoShop. And now, many years later, she can finally bring them to life in 3D. Jennifer is proficient in Maya and Zbrush, using the combined programs to create highly detailed, realistic objects. She is also well versed in key frame animation, but also is familiar with motion capture animation. During her Associates studies, she participated in Platt’s first Portfolio Showcase.
Jennifer is a Sci-Fi and Fantasy nerd, from Star Wars to Wheel of Time, she loves it all! She takes inspiration from everything she sees and hears. She is also a gamer, bookworm and nature lover. When Jennifer was young, she lived in Rosamond, CA, home to the EFBC's Feline Conservation Center. Her father volunteered there for years, giving her access to see the magnificent tigers. This experience was pivotal in her creativity, giving inspiration to her art.
In high school, Jennifer was in FFA (Future Farmers of America) and participated in raising a market lamb for the local fair. Her hard work won her the local champion ribbon and increased the value of her lamb at auction. She was also part of the local Girl Scout Senior troop and assisted with helping out the younger girls at events and functions.
Jennifer spent several years working with companies such as Sony Online Entertainment and Cryptic Studios as a Game Master and Community Manager. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for 3D modeling an animation. She has dedicated the last four years of her schooling to realize this dream. When working on a model, her attention to detail is impeccable. She loves creating in 3d and takes great pride in making the details as real as possible.
